Presidents of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

   The following pages contain various facts and items of information on the brethren who have been ordained as Presidents of the Church in this dispensation. The prophets are listed in order of their date of ordination. There are six sections of information.
   A word of explanation is necessary for the "Apostolic Tenure" column. Under "Total" is listed the total number of years as an apostle, and under "Non-Pres" is the number of years as an apostle before becoming the President of the Church.

 

The following abbreviations are used in the "Positions held" column:

 

                 PR = President       1C = First Counselor             2C = Second Counselor    AC= Assistant Counselor

                 HP = High Priest     CP = Counselor to President      1E = First Elder         AN = Apostle, not in Quorum of 12
