Listed below are the nine shortest apostolic tenures of this dispensation. Five of these apostles were excommunicated (Marsh, M'Lellin, Johnson, Johnson, Boynton), one was killed in battle (Patten), and one was not a member of the Quorum of the Twelve (Grant).
